Bridal trial makeup at Be Queen Makeup
My bridal trial makeup is usually done 1-2 months before the wedding, but of course it can be done earlier depending on your needs. If you have the opportunity, it is a good idea to coordinate it with your hairstylist so you can see both together.
It is important to have the wedding dress, the secondary dress, jewellery, other accessories (such as hair accessories) and the colors of the bouquet, as I take all these into account when I do the makeup. So please bring a photo of these with you to the trial if you can.
If possible I prefer doing the trial makeup in natural daylight.
It's about a 2-hour process, during which we first talk through your ideas, I ask you a few questions to find out what you are passionate about, what type of makeup you want to wear.
I will then establish your color type using color kerchiefs. It is important to note that this is not a full color analysis, I will only determine whether you are a cool or warm color type and suggest makeup colors accordingly.
Then the makeup begins. It is worth taking your time, as the trial gives you the opportunity to see several variations to choose from. The final say is always yours, as the most important thing is that you feel good in the makeup you choose for your big day!
In my experience, people who wear minimal or no makeup on a daily basis may find it unusual to see themselves in full makeup at first. They mostly choose a natural make-up type.
I will take a picture of your makeup or makeups so you can see how you will look in your wedding photos.
And on the big day, I will give you a little "survival kit" so you can touchup your makeup for example after dinner.
